Beauty therapy lecturer eh? You must be reeeeeeealy brainy then. Er, not. Clarins don't employ beauty therapy college graduates, they employ science graduates (i.e. clever people).
check out john lewis, they just posted a beaty therapist wanted ad esp to train for clarins - down south somewhere, so i know they employ and train! Think i saw debenems aswell! they should point you in the right direction..
There are many different levels of training in retail cosmetics. If you are interested in being a regional or national trainer, I would contact Clarins, USA Human Recources department and find out what qualifications are necessary to be a member of the education team. I do not know what other training you have, they may require a bachelors degree in education, maybe even an aesthetics license. Maybe go to your local Clarins counter and ask for the voicemail number or card of the local account executive. They will be able to point you in the right direction and tell you if they have any current openings within their market.

Clarins One Step Gentle Exfoliater?
has anyone ever tried Clarins One Step Gentle Exfoliater? its the orange one. well i have it and i find its quite good, but i was wondering if there is a better one, please can you answer if you have tried it because then i know what you are comparing it to. thankyou! also i want an exfoliater to smooth my skin and dry patches and not for acne prone skin.Clarins One Step Gentle Exfoliater?
I'm using Clarins products too and I am really glad I started to use it. I have both exfoliators orange one and Bright Plus (white) Gentle Brightening Exfoliator. It's a very good stuff!!!

It is funny you just asked this question because i have just bought it after my sister recommended it to me. This is the best self-tanner I have ever used and I've tried a lot of them. It has a gel-like consistency and goes on smoothly. I always moisturize my knees, feet, and elbows to ensure an even tan.
Unlike others I have used it will not turn you orange, it will give you a very natural looking tan without the sun damage. I've only used this on my body but it suggests to use it on your face too.
Another benefit of this product i found is you can get dressed right away without having to worry about this product transferring onto your clothes! I have already gone through several tubes and will keep buying it. I highly, highly recommend this product. Oh just be sure to wash your hands well after applying it.
There are a few out there but I found the instant gel has worked the best.

I bought new toner and moisturiser by Clarins right and since I started using it my skin has turned horrible, like kind of bumpy and it looks like all my pores are like craters. When I'm at the gym sweating, the skin on my face actually stings. Now, I have no allergies that I know of so I don't have a clue why this is happening. I use Molten Brown face wash and have done for ages and I love that. Needless to say I've stopped using the Clarins but my skin isn't going back to normal. Please help me!Skincare help? It sounds like the Clarins products were too strong for your skin. I had the same thing happen when I tried Garnier Pure A range. It takes 6 weeks for your skin to renew its self so you have to wait it out unfortunately.
I use 2 cleansers and 1 exfoliator now; one cleanser is a deep pore wash by Neutrogena which I use most of the time, the other is a mild soap-free cleanser by Simple, which I use if my skin needs a bit more care or is looking too dry. The exfoliator is from Clinique and I use it twice a day. I've found that this is the perfect balance for my skin (and I've been through practically everything out there)

it sounds like you could be allergic, i would stop using toner for a while and use a perfume free cleanser instead and see if it helps.
I know of some facial soap that is really really good for pores and also is a good bet to return your skin back to normal. It's Cuticura MEDICATED soap. I use it all the time and love it. I have trouble finding it in stores so I buy it online. The shipping (USPS standard) is really cheap, and it's only $2 for a big bar of soap. You'll get lots of answers, but trust me on this -- I'm almost positive this would work really good for you. There is just something about this soap.

The best cheap and simple moisturiser, with no chemicals is E45. They do a lotion as well as the simple cream, which is less greasy.
It's recommended for people with ecsema or other skin conditions as it's non-fragranced and very gentle.
It may also be worth using a very gentle cleanser too. In the winter creamy cleansers which you wipe off with cotton wool are much more gentle than face wash, or ';toner'; style cleansers .
Also, with Christmas coming up, you could always try recommending to your friends/family that they treat you to the Clarins cream as a present...

I don't think the tanner is actually bad for you, but I think the (false sense of) security that people put with it can lead to issues. I've heard people say they have a base tan (with their self tanner tans) and don't need added protection / SPF when out in the REAL sun.

Yes, it takes a few days to work. I also start using it this time of year so that the first time I wear sandals or capris I don't look like some pale freak. I have heard nothing but good things about Clarins, though. But I have only used their cleansers.
I am sure you wouldn't have a problem trying them both and returning the one you don't like. I have returned products from both manufacturers, and never had an issue.

bare minerals makes a fabulous self tanner. I used it, loved it, completely natural looking and dries fairly fast. I have used TONS of self tanners and this one was by far the best. it works on your face as well. this self tanner is also a great moisturizer since its a mineral based tanner.!

hi there is so may products out there i bet your head is spinning but to be completley honest you carnt prevent stetch marks but products such as shea butter will help your skin expand and you may not get as many.

Moisturising will not help stretchmarks go away. They will never go away but will fade to silvery lines eventually. There are many brands which claim to get rid of stretchmarks but if you ask your midwife she will confirm that unfortunately it's all part of being a mum!

My post pregnancy tummy is stretch mark free and it is owed to palmers cocoa butter. You can get it from Boots at around £5, probably even less. Its great, so rich. Yum!
I used pure shea butter, and it worked well - - never got a stretch mark.. I hear that there really isn't any cream that will prevent that, but I think it's best to keep your belly moisturized so that the skin has it's best chance! ;) The Body Shoppe makes some really good thick creams with a high shea butter concentrate. hi there is so may products out there i bet your head is spinning but to be completley honest you carnt prevent stetch marks but products such as shea butter will help your skin expand and you may not get as many.

Moisturising will not help stretchmarks go away. They will never go away but will fade to silvery lines eventually. There are many brands which claim to get rid of stretchmarks but if you ask your midwife she will confirm that unfortunately it's all part of being a mum!
palmers do a fantastic range, also bio oil is good but doesnt sink i well.
My post pregnancy tummy is stretch mark free and it is owed to palmers cocoa butter. You can get it from Boots at around £5, probably even less. Its great, so rich. Yum!
I used pure shea butter, and it worked well - - never got a stretch mark.. I hear that there really isn't any cream that will prevent that, but I think it's best to keep your belly moisturized so that the skin has it's best chance! ;) The Body Shoppe makes some really good thick creams with a high shea butter concentrate. i am on my second pregnancy have have used Palmers Cocoa Butter cream both times and hardly have any stretchmarks.

Wich one i should buy ( kinerase, Clarins or Olay anti aging) ?

I want to try their moisturizers. If you have used them, did you find that they clogged your pores or made you break out? The 2 that I am thinking of trying are:

Is Clarins HydraQuench Lotion SPF 15 any good? Escpecially under founation?
I didn't care for it. I returned it and to AquaFusion by Lancome.The Clarins one didn't set right. I use powder foundation and I always look like my face would crack. It was too think. It does though work good as a night moisturizer.

Honestly, Clarins is way, way, way too expensive to be worth buying. The Multi-Active Day Cream-Gel and Moisture Quenching Hydra-Balance Lotion are quite good, but rediculously priced for what you get.
BioTherm is pretty good -- they use a lot of very good antioxidants in their products and the prices are more reasonable (though still kind of a ripoff, less so than Clarins). The Special Wrinkle Sun Block is good but unfortunately only available outside the US, Biosource Clarifying Exfoliating Gel is good but super-expensive, and the Biosource Softening Lotion for Dry Skin is one of the best toners out there for ALL skin types, and is very reasonably priced as well.
But you should also be aware that BioTherm is discontinuing their products in stores -- from now on, they will only be sold via their website.

i doubt it would matter really, unless it's making you break out or something i think it's okay to use it on your face even if it is for your body. look on the bottle on the back under directions, it'll normally say back there if it doesn't say on the front.

I am a 28yo guy and recently used a cheap radiance balm instead of the normal Clarins one I've used for years.?
I used it for about a week and my skin completely broke out. I have not had spots for years but now have acne all over my cheeks and forehead. I do that with the oil (the lady at the counter told me to) I think the oil is far better, and a bonus... it is $45 versus $64. Which is a good natural cosmetics line Origins or Clarins?
I am 9 weeks pregnant with twins and I am currently using Lancome, but the smell is just well...getting to me. I was thinking of trying to switch to a more natural line of skincare and makeup. My friend suggested Bare Minerals, but it just did not work with my skin and I broke out....next I tried Aveda, but I could not get over the smell and the foundation made my eyes water. I took a sniff of some of Clarins products and saw that they had things to prevent stretch marks as well as good sun protection products...I also took a sniff of Origins products, the smell was fine, good color selection, the price was better than Clarins, but no good stretch mark products, and not enought sun products. Which do would you recommend for me, I need a good skincare line, as well as makeup. My skin is combination as it gets good and oily in the T-Zone and normal on the cheeks. Usually like 2 per season that they incorporate with other existing shades. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their products and their newly formulated shadows even have some of my M.A.C. shadows getting jealous. I know from experience Estee Lauder is awesome. Their products do what they say they do and are worth the extra money.

You could get Clinque...or just skip that, save some money and buy some clorox, paint thinner, and cheap vodka and sponge that on your dermis. Humor aside Clinque is far FAR to abrasive in my opinion - Lauder is good - they have a lot of anti-aging properties so if that's not your concern yet you may look elsewhere, same with clarins although they do have a fancy spray deodorant in a glass bottle that is amazing. Lauder has a brilliant heated exfoliant made of crushed volcanic ash/pearls can't remember which but its some organic rarity. My choice isn't on your list and may be a little more difficult to find but more than worth the search - plus its a little more economic than the majority of your selections. Mario Badescu is an amazing skin care line. I love the Foaming Glycolic face wash and Glycolic grapefruit toner(clensing lotion) as well as the seaweed night cream, cucmber toner, and the undereye gels are things of magic.
Google it! You will laugh in a year thinking you once wondered what to throw on your face, once you have it.
I have had bad skin since I was 13... I have used Shin cuticals, Darphin, Este Lauder, Dior, Biotherm, Dermologia, all high street brands, I have had Crystal Clear Facials and Glyderm face peels.... and everything else in between I have spent thousands of different products, the worst for me was dermologica and someone suggested I use Clinique and I have to say I didnt think it would work.... Amazing is all I can it has kept my skin under control, helps it look brighter, clearer, clean and fresh I am a massive advocate of this product... I would not use anything else, ask for a seven day trial and see what happens.... cant hurt to try it. and wont cost you anything to try.
Good skincare is more than worth investing in, there is a make called Dermalogica which is very very good for problematic skin,they even have representatives around the world who do facials to clear skin, and it's just the same price as clinique etc. Clinique it very good to suit the skin you have,as they do a wheel which helps them to understand your skin tone. I would reccommend clinique as i've used it for years (they give you a three step skin routine and free samples to try for a certain amount of time) . Estee lauder is perfumed so it can irritate skin. I have used them all but dermologica is one of the best for problematic skin, thanks

Different solutions for everyone. But I can safely tell you that any skincare you get at Walmart, or a 99 cent store is simply not good. They are loaded with fillers, and very little active ingredients. How else do you think they can have such low pricing? You get what you pay for.

Humor aside Clinque is far FAR to abrasive in my opinion - Lauder is good - they have a lot of anti-aging properties so if that's not your concern yet you may look elsewhere, same with clarins although they do have a fancy spray deodorant in a glass bottle that is amazing. Lauder has a brilliant heated exfoliant made of crushed volcanic ash/pearls can't remember which but its some organic rarity. My choice isn't on your list and may be a little more difficult to find but more than worth the search - plus its a little more economic than the majority of your selections. Mario Badescu is an amazing skin care line. I love the Foaming Glycolic face wash and Glycolic grapefruit toner(clensing lotion) as well as the seaweed night cream, cucmber toner, and the undereye gels are things of magic.
Google it! You will laugh in a year thinking you once wondered what to throw on your face, once you have it.
I have had bad skin since I was 13... I have used Shin cuticals, Darphin, Este Lauder, Dior, Biotherm, Dermologia, all high street brands, I have had Crystal Clear Facials and Glyderm face peels.... and everything else in between I have spent thousands of different products, the worst for me was dermologica and someone suggested I use Clinique and I have to say I didnt think it would work.... Amazing is all I can it has kept my skin under control, helps it look brighter, clearer, clean and fresh I am a massive advocate of this product... I would not use anything else, ask for a seven day trial and see what happens.... cant hurt to try it. and wont cost you anything to try.
Good skincare is more than worth investing in, there is a make called Dermalogica which is very very good for problematic skin,they even have representatives around the world who do facials to clear skin, and it's just the same price as clinique etc. Clinique it very good to suit the skin you have,as they do a wheel which helps them to understand your skin tone. I would reccommend clinique as i've used it for years (they give you a three step skin routine and free samples to try for a certain amount of time) . Estee lauder is perfumed so it can irritate skin. I have used them all but dermologica is one of the best for problematic skin, thanks

Different solutions for everyone. But I can safely tell you that any skincare you get at Walmart, or a 99 cent store is simply not good. They are loaded with fillers, and very little active ingredients. How else do you think they can have such low pricing? You get what you pay for.

Few times I bought it on Ebay - there are sellers who specialize in department store makeup and skincare, but you are getting brand new products for half of the retail price! As always good rule of thumb with Ebay is to check sellers' feedback and ask questions when the descriptions are not clear.
Also I purchased Clarins products at the local outlet mall, sometimes at the Saks outlet store, or one of the fragrance and beauty outlets, but the assortment varies.
To make sure you are not getting really old discontinued stuff, here is a way to check freshness on Clarins products. Usually on the bottom of the product (bottle, jar, etc) there are 6 small stamped digits. For example , 402021 on my Bright Plus lotion means that it was made in Feb 2004, the first 3 digits mean year and month.

I just saw an ad for Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch cream in Allure magazine and it sounds really good. According to the ad, it supposedly fills in lines and wrinkles, makes pores look smaller, blurs imperfections and will give you radiant, youthful-looking skin with or without makeup. I'm 28 and I have a problem with fine lines and am thinking of trying this, but my skin is a little sensitive and easily breaks out if a product is too strong. So just wondering does it really do what it claims and is it ok to use for sensitive skin?Anyone tried Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch? Does it work and is it ok for sensitive skin?
At 28 years old I would be more concerned with repairing those fine lines than masking them. Clarins Instant Smooth is a quick fix. Those lines will still be there tomorrow, next week and in all likeliness, be deeper and more noticable next year.
