Is there a difference between Clarins products in glass and plastic jars or are you paying for the packaging?

I want to buy Clarins Extra Firming Night Cream as a present. The RRP is 拢41 and it is available on Ebay etc. for 拢27 in the glass container that I want to give and for as little as 拢17 in alternative plastic container (both 50ml). Does anyone use it and could advise?

I hate them all- clinique is fab. It does what is says on the glass jar!
Somebody also has to pay for that!!!
the more expensive is the better qualitly i would think, but it depends on you. Good luck and happy holidays!
It doesn't matter what brand it is, or how good it is. If its in a glass jar it will cost more than the same thing in a plastic jar. Glass is more expensive and someone has to pay for it, so the cost gets passed on, like everything else in life.
Why not ring Clarins and ask?
