Is using a self tanner bad for you (Clarins)?

If so, why?Is using a self tanner bad for you (Clarins)?
I don't think the tanner is actually bad for you, but I think the (false sense of) security that people put with it can lead to issues. I've heard people say they have a base tan (with their self tanner tans) and don't need added protection / SPF when out in the REAL sun.

Go ahead and use it for the looks, but remember to apply the SPF anytime you are out in the sun (whether tanning or not).Is using a self tanner bad for you (Clarins)?
Self tanner only dyes the top layer of your skin. You don't necessarily absorb a lot of the product. I don't see why it would be bad for you.
not at all.

just stay away from the tanning beds

and too much sun.

those are what's bad for your skin.

= ]
It can be bad if it goes wrong but as thatis such a reputable brand I dont se why not. Sure is better than UV i.e sunbeds and frying on a hot beach lol
No not really. Besides the colors being off and you looking a little yellow or orange. Or having lines of it on you that didn't get rubbed in right. The sun is much worse.
its safer than the sun and a tanning bed although the results arent as good
sun is most natural and easy way to get tanned
It probably won't cause cancer, but it will clog your pores and isn't good if you have acne.
hi, you can get skin cancer through sun or a tanning bed.

when you get older your skin gets ruffer.I,should know beacuse i,am a nurse i, seen it all.
actually, sunless tanning cream is the healthiest way for a tan, because it moisturizes your skin and keeps you away from the suns harmful uv rays. i use the victorias secret sunless body bronzer, it works great.
I don't think so...the sun has to be worse.
